Jeffrey Dean Morgan shares favorite Dead City scene with Lauren Cohan

Buzzfeed gave The Walking Dead: Dead City fans a real treat with some VIP guests for its recent co-star test. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan, stars of Dead City, were quizzed on how well they know one another. One

The premise of the quiz is to see how well Morgan and Cohan know each other after working together for years in The Walking Dead universe and previously in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Most of the questions were fun, like favorite snacks, go-to drink orders, birthdays, first-acting jobs, etc. But some questions were a little deeper, like their favorite TWD characters, scenes they filmed together, and more.

Dead City scene with Maggie and Negan

Morgan answered that he loved the scene, not the location in episode two with Maggie & Negan in their bathroom prison cell. This is after the Tribespeople catches them, and Maggie lies to them about why they are in Manhattan.

In the scene, Negan calls Maggie on her BS story about Canada and a shipwreck. She is very angry about not fighting back, and Negan is trying to reason with her. He explains that if they give a little, the Tribespeople will also, resulting in a partnership.

This is also the scene where Negan spills about The Croat (Željko Ivanek) and just how horrible and vile this man is. As torturer for the Saviors, The Croat didn’t listen to orders and took things too far with a young woman, a scout from the Kingdom.

Another question asked was about their favorite Walking Dead scene they filmed together, to which they both answered their final scene in season 11 and added the one where Negan is in the jail cell at Alexandria is also a favorite.
