British actor, screenwriter, and playwright Lennie James has portrayed Morgan Jones in The Walking Dead universe since 2010. He was introduced in the pilot episode of The Walking Dead and would crossover to Fear the Walking Dead during that series’ fourth season. What else does the actor star in?

James attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 1988, and began his acting career in the 1990s. Since that time, he has starred in many movies and films.

Out of the Blue 

He starred in series 1 and 2 of the British crime drama, Out of the Blue, with fellow Walking Dead actor David Morrissey. The series aired on BBC One in 1995 and 1996. This series is available on Fubo.

Jericho

Jericho, a post-apocalyptic action drama, aired on CBS for two seasons. This series is set in the aftermath of a nuclear attack in 23 major cities in the US. Viewers can stream this series on Prime Video or Paramount+.

Hung

The comedy-drama Hung aired for three seasons on HBO and follows Thomas Jane as Ray Drecker, a struggling high school basketball coach who turns to prostitution.  James stars in seasons 2 and 3. The series can be viewed on Prime Video, DirecTV stream, and MAX.

Low Winter Sun 

Low Winter Sun is an AMC series based on a British two-part mini-series.  The story tells of two detectives who cover up their murder of a corrupt cop and examines organized crime in Detroit. You can watch this series on AMC+.

Save Me

James created, wrote, and stars in Save Me and Save Me Too, which aired on Sky Atlantic. James plays Nelson “Nelly” Rowe, a man down on his luck who discovers his estranged daughter mysteriously disappears. He begins to search for her, doing anything he has to find out what happened to her, including lying and begging for favors. The series has been renewed for a third season. Save Me airs on Peacock.
