The Walking Dead: Dead City will air its third episode this week, bringing the story to the midway point. Reception of the fourth spinoff of The Walking Dead has been positive, which bodes well for the other spinoffs, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and the Rick & Michonne spinoff, set to release in the fall of 2023 and 2024. What time does the new episode of Dead City air on AMC?
Dead City season 1, episode 3, “People Are a Resource,” will see Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) formulate a plan. At the same time, Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles) is tested, and Ginny (Mahina Napoleon) embarks on a daring journey.
Last week Maggie and Negan met with a new group, the Tribespeople, who are natives of NYC and are also at odds with The Croat (Željko Ivanek). The Croat captured Armstrong, and Ginny left the sanctuary of the new Hilltop location, likely in search of Negan.
Another interesting development was Negan reverted to the showmanship of the old Negan from his days as leader of the Saviors. Seeing how this will affect Maggie & Negan’s relationship going forward will be exciting.
