The final episodes of The Walking Dead spinoff, Fear the Walking Dead, will air by the end of 2023. The series has run for eight seasons, and in January 2023, AMC announced this would be the last. Thefirst six episodes of the 12-episode season aired in May and June and saw the departure of long-time character Morgan Jones (Lennie James). In the second half of the season, there are many storylines to wrap, and viewers will see the reunion of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and Victor Strand (Colman Domingo).
In the season 7 finale episode of Fear the Walking Dead, fan-favorite Madison made her return to the series. She was discovered by Morgan, who had never met her previously but knew her children Nick (Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey). She was employed by PADRE as a collector of children and, from Morgan, would learn the fate of her children. In season 8, she assisted Morgan and the others in taking down PADRE, and by the midseason finale, she was ready to help the children she abducted locate their parents.
Victor Strand was absent during season 8, part 1. The last time he was seen was in the season 7 finale when the survivors were fleeing Texas to locate a new, safer place to live. The group was captured by PADRE and dispersed to various jobs according to their skills. Somehow Victor escaped being under the jurisdiction of PADRE. The first segment of episodes experienced a seven-year time jump. Knowing Victor, he is fairing well.
Fear the Walking Dead – season 8 – Madison & Victor reunion
According to the teaser trailer for the second half of the last season of Fear the Walking Dead original cast members will be reunited. Madison, Victor, Daniel (Rubèn Blades), and Luciana (Danay García) will join forces once again and rumor has it they will come against Troy (Daniel Sharman). But you are thinking, he died when Madison hammered him in the head, evidently it wasn’t a lethal blow. This storyline is absurd, even for Fear the Walking Dead.
This part of the last season will see Madison reunite with Victor, who has been going by the name of Anton. Showrunners have teased that Strand will undergo a “drastic transformation.” In the trailer he is sporting a new hair style and a new name and viewers will have to watch to find out what else has altered with Strand.
Fear the Walking Dead season 8, part 2, will premiere in the fall of 2023.
