Several Walking Dead actors receive Emmy nominations for 2023

The Emmys have always snubbed The Walking Dead series, but several Walking Dead universe actors have been recognized over the years. This year the 75th Emmy Awards is scheduled to air on Monday, September 18, at 8:00-11:00 PM ET from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Which Walking Dead actors have been nominated for the 2023 Emmys?
Jon Bernthal Emmy Nomination for The Bear
Jon Bernthal, who played Shane in seasons 1 & 2 of The Walking Dead, has truly made a name for himself since departing the series. He most recently stars in the Hulu series The Bear, and this series got a lot of attention with Emmy nominations.

Steven Yeun Emmy Nomination for Beef
Steven Yeun played Glenn Rhee in seasons 1-7 of The Walking Dead and is another actor whose career has skyrocketed since leaving the series. His most recent success came with the Netflix series Beef which is nominated in several categories this year.

Tyler James Williams portrayed Noah on The Walking Dead and had one of the most horrifying deaths in the series. Trapped in a revolving door, Noah was torn apart while Yeun’s Glenn, also trapped, could do nothing but watch. He currently stars in Hulu’s Abbott Elementary.
