San Diego Comic-Con 2023 will kick off this week, and The Walking Dead universe will host a fan viewing event with exclusive looks at the four upcoming spinoffs. The panel will be held on Friday, July 21, at 1 p.m. PT in Hall H.

Attendees will be able to experience The Walking Dead Universe Fan Watch Party in Hall H.

AMC has answered the questions regarding what can be revealed in light of the SAG-AFTRA & WGA strikes in a press release.

Fans will get an exclusive first look at content from four series in The Walking Dead Universe, including:

  • A retrospective piece and an exclusive clip for Fear the Walking Dead’s final six episodes, which returns on Oct. 22.
  • A sneak peek at The Walking Dead: Dead City’s season finale airing Sunday, July 23.
  • The debut of the official trailer and a sneak peek of the first half of the first episode of the highly anticipated next series in TWDU, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, premiering September 10.
  • A tease for the Untitled Rick and Michonne series, debuting in 2024.

Although the actors will not be able to attend the panels due to the SAG-AFTRA & WGA strikes, TWDU will reveal great information.

Other items fans are hoping to learn about are the second seasons of The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking DeadDaryl Dixon, which has begun filming in France. Melissa McBride will return to TWDU in the Daryl Dixon series, and hopefully, this is also officially announced.

One of the most exciting reveals during SDCC will be whatever is shared for the upcoming Rick and Michonne spinoff. Little has been shared for this series, which is set to release in 2024.

The Daryl Dixon spinoff has released several teasers ahead of SDCC; the announcement of an official trailer release is an expected and welcome announcement. And the lucky attendees will also get to view half of episode 1 of the new series.

While these videos will not be streamed live, it is possible some of the footage will be released at a later date.

Undead Walking will keep you updated on all of the information from SDCC 2023.
