The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon who are the new characters in the series?

AMC has begun promoting the upcoming spinoff The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon with numerous teaser clips and images. Entertainment Weekly has the exclusive on some brand new photos and insight into the new characters who will join Daryl (Norman Reedus) in France.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on Sept. 10, 2023. This series will see Daryl in France, but the twist, he has no idea how he arrived there or why. The first teaser shows Daryl tied to an upturned lifeboat in the middle of the ocean.
Reedus told EW, in an interview conducted before the current SAG-AFTRA strike, that the first episode will set the tone of the series, and all of the teaser clips of him walking the countryside appear in that episode.
"So that first episode is a lot of, ‘Where the f— am I?’ And ‘Wow, look where I’m at.’ And also, ‘Daryl’s there?’ But he’s not even sure where the f— he is and how this works."
In another trailer, Daryl says, “If I don’t make it back, I want them to know I tried.” The synopsis tells that while he might not know why he is in France, he knows he must make his way back home, but the people he encounters make this mission difficult.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon characters
Since Daryl finds himself alone in a new part of the world, he will encounter many new people. Let’s take a look at some of the new characters.
Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) is described as “An 11-year-old boy born just as the hungry ones appeared, he grew up in an abbey protected by nuns, shielded from the violence of the outside world. He seems insightful and wise beyond his years.”
Isabelle (Clémence Poésy) “A smart, headstrong nun capable of protecting herself and the people she loves, Isabelle escaped to the countryside when the hungry ones arrived.”
The “hungry ones” is likely the French name for the undead. And the fact that Isabelle is a nun explains the clip of Daryl in the Abbey.

These characters belong to a group ran by Genet (Anne Charrier), who wants Daryl Dixon killed.
