Daryl Dixon will begin his overseas adventure in September 2023, when he begins his journey through France in the new spinoff The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Portrayed by Norman Reedus, Daryl will wash ashore and begin to piece together what has happened. The full-length trailer revealed much more about his mission and introduced many new characters. A new teaser clip highlights Daryl and two other characters.
Daryl Dixon will premiere on AMC on Sept. 10, 2023, when viewers finally see how Daryl makes his way to France and discover more about his mission. Fans will be overjoyed to know they will receive double Reedus features that night as Ride with Norman Reedus premieres its sixth season. This long-awaited season will feature special guests Keanu Reeves, Josh Holloway, Adri Law, and Johnny Knoxville.
In the trailer, revealed at SDCC 2023, for the Daryl Dixon spinoff shows, he arrives at an Abbey where he encounters a nun named Isabelle (Clémence Poésy). She is a member of a progressive religious group who believes Daryl is a messenger sent to embark on a journey with a young boy Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi). This boy is said to be the one who will “lead the revival of humanity.”

In addition to agreeing to take on the task of accompanying Laurent to his destination, Daryl is being pursued. Under orders from a woman, Codron (Romain Levi) vows to kill the American. This will add to the series’ excitement, filmed in France’s picturesque countryside.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premieres on AMC on Sept. 10, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET. AMC+ will premiere new episodes three days early. The series has also been renewed for a second season.
