Zombieverse Netflix’s thrilling Korean reality series, mixes scares & humor

With a title like Zombieverse, viewers expect to see something set in an apocalypse featuring members of the undead and a lot of gore. Netflix’s latest addition to its massive list of Korean titles will meet those expectations with something brand new for unscripted content.
The new reality series gathers ten contestants who believe they are taking part in a reality dating series. Their new adventure will take a terrifying turn when they discover themselves in the South Korean capital, Seoul, which has become overrun with the undead.
The art team from All of Us Are Dead and the choreographer from Kingdom teamed up to create fantastic action sequences and terrifyingly believable zombie attacks in this survival series.
The survivors in Zombieverse will enter a nightmare of the undead in which they much use their skills to navigate the horrors they encounter. As they fight off the zombies, they will also need to be mindful of locating food, water, shelter, transportation and other necessary items crucial to their survival. What makes this series unique is that contestants are set in what they believe is a real-life zombie apocalypse, and their decisions are unscripted.
Zombieverse will showcase each participant’s true nature from resilience to vulnerability, wit to courage, as they react to their surroundings. The series is full of fear, camaraderie, and humor as the cast encounters the undead and the survival challenges.

Zombieverse will premieres on August 8, 2023, only on Netflix.
