Walking Dead Addy Miller’s Teddy Bear Walker featured on Blu-ray art

The Walking Dead series complete DVD and Blu-ray boxed sets are now available for pre-order. Fans can purchase all eleven seasons, with each set featuring original artwork. The recently announced The Walking Dead: The Complete Collection Blu-ray box set with digital copy features the Teddy Bear Walker, played by actress Addy Miller, front and center.

The Teddy Bear Walker, whose name was Summer, was the first onscreen kill of a walker by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). She was dressed in a robe and slippers and stopped to pick up her stuffed animal. Believing it was a lost child, Rick calls out, “Little girl.” She turns, and he sees that she is a walker. The look on his face mirrored viewers’ reactions as they all knew what he must do next.

The actress shared her excitement on social media. She wasn’t aware that her image would be on the set, stating, “such a bittersweet ending to an era.”

Lionsgate previously announced the The Walking Dead Complete Collection DVD, exclusively available at Walmart. This set is available for pre-order on Walmart’s site for $129.96 with an expected shipping date of October 19. The DVD collection features the famous “Don’t Open Dead Inside” doors and many of the series’ main characters with artwork by Clio Award winning-illustrator Oliver Barrett.

The Walking Dead: The Complete Collection Blu-ray box set with digital copy (pictured above) is available for pre-order on Amazon for $209.97 and will be released on October 17. While the special features have yet to be announced, this set does include an exclusive bonus disc with The Walking Dead: Making of the Final Season, the behind-the-scenes documentary.
