The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2 filming has resumed in France

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premieres season 1 on AMC and AMC+ on September 10, 2023. Fans are eager to see what happens when Daryl arrives on the shores of France. The series has been renewed for a second season, which began filming earlier in 2023 but was halted due to the SAG/AFRTA strikes.

AMC Networks have been permitted to work on a select number of titles due to an agreement between the network and SAG-AFTRA. The network can resume work on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live season 1, and Interview with the Vampire season 2.

Images circulating on social media confirm that Daryl Dixon has resumed production. Camera operator Johan Le Ruz shared several images on Instagram from earlier filming but posted a brand new one in his stories showing that filming has begun in a notable location, The Louvre.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 1 premiere

Daryl Dixon will premiere on AMC on Sunday, September 10, at 9 p.m. ET. AMC+ subscribers can watch this episode on the same day at 3 a.m. ET.

The first episode sets the tone for the series and introduces several key players to the storyline. Daryl arrives in France and immediately puts his plan of returning home in motion. He will come against difficulties when he meets a group of people who need his help.

Two groups, The Union of Hope, a group of nuns, and The Cause, a political movement, will become part of Daryl’s story. The nuns help Daryl and reveal they have a vital mission for him. The Cause isn’t pleased with his presence in France and sets out to hunt him down.
