The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon series has premiered with excellent feedback from the media and viewers. The series follows Daryl (Norman Reedus), who arrives in France with one desire: to return home. Did you miss the premiere episode? We have good news.

AMC will air the first episode of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon on YouTube on Thursday, September 14, at noon ET. Sadly, some countries are excluded from viewing.

The episode is titled  “L’âme Perdue” (The Lost Soul) and was written by showrunner  David Zabel and directed by Daniel Percival, both newcomers to The Walking Dead universe.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 1

The first season of Daryl Dixon consists of six episodes that will expand the universe into the country of France. Daryl has stated that a series of bad decisions led him to arrive in France.

In the series finale episode of The Walking Dead, Daryl said his goodbyes and rode off to seek out new people and to find any information regarding Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira).

For years, Daryl thought Rick had died in the bridge explosion in season 9. In the last episodes of the main series, Judith (Cailey Fleming) reveals the truth: Rick survived. Daryl likely got too close to finding out something about Rick, a captive of the Civic Republic Military (CRM), and was placed on a ship destined for France.

The series will unravel Daryl’s sea voyage while introducing the new characters he encounters. While his main goal is to travel back to the US, he will meet new people who make this task difficult. Daryl has a good heart and is always willing to help those in need, which might get him into trouble with the wrong people.

New episodes of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premiere on Sundays at 3 a.m. ET on AMC+ and at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
