The Walking Dead universe comprises a massive list of outstanding actors, some who were stars before their TWDU role, and others’ talents were revealed by their portrayal of their respective characters. Fans love to watch their favorite TWDU actors in different roles, and the HBO series Band of Brothers features some familiar faces.

Band of Brothers was created by executive producers Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks based on the 1992 non-fiction work by historian Stephen E. Ambrose. The series began airing on HBO in 2001 and features ten episodes. The series holds a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and won the Best Miniseries awards at the Emmys and Golden Globes.

The story is a dramatization of the Easy Company, part of the 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiments assigned to the United States Army’s 101st Airborne Division during World War II. Band of Brothers uses accounts of historical events, interviews with survivors, and journals and letters written by the soldiers to describe the bravery and fear they endured.

Is Band of Brothers only on HBO?

While Band of Brothers is an HBO series, it was recently released on Netflix and can be viewed on Directv Stream and MAX, formerly HBO Max.
