The trailer (below) for the third episode of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon reveals the group making their arrival in Paris. Daryl (Norman Reedus) has agreed to accompany two nuns and a young boy to The Nest, a safe location near Paris. Their arrival in the former La Ville-Lumière (The City of Light) sees them meet with friends and foes, with Daryl proclaiming, “We did it your way, now we’re going to do it mine.”

The backdrop of France has been a highlight in the Daryl Dixon series. The old-world feel of this country is now veiled by the presence of the apocalypse, which somehow doesn’t take away from the breathtaking landscape. The group’s arrival in Paris will show the city in a new light as the undead roam the streets and nature has taken over.

Daryl agrees to take Laurent  (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi), who is believed to be the new messiah, to The Nest, where he can be groomed to fulfill his destiny. Isabelle has told Daryl if he does this, she can assist him in the journey to a port where ships are rumored to sail in and out of.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Le Havre

Viewers know that the port, Le Havre, is where the ship Daryl escaped from is docked. Genet (Anne Charrier), the leader of The Cause, is displeased with Daryl’s handy work that all but destroyed the ship, which took three years to make sea-worthy, and her group of test subject walkers.

While Daryl is making many friends during his journey, he has also made enemies of Genet and Codron (Romain Levi), whose brother he killed. He will likely see more unpleasant encounters with these two characters.
