5. Noah (Tyler James Williams)

Noah was a sweet soul who only wanted to find his family. He befriended Beth when she was new to Grady Memorial Hospital, and she helped him escape.

He would locate his family with the help of Rick and the others but sadly found them dead. After losing Beth, Tyreese, and his family in a couple of days, he became cynical and wondered if he would make it in this world. He did fairly well once they arrived in Alexandria, even expressing an interest in learning how to build, which Alexandria architect Reg Monroe (Steve Coulter) was happy to teach him.

In the fourteenth episode of season 5, “Spend,” Noah, Glenn, Aiden, Tara, Nicolas, and Eugene depart on a mission to retrieve spare parts from a nearby warehouse. The trip turns horrific when walkers overrun them and since Nicolas was such a coward, people died.

Trapped in a revolving door, with Nicolas in one section, Noah and Glenn in another, instead of safely getting everyone out, Nicholas selfishly pushes his way out, exposing Noah and Glenn to the horde within. Noah is pulled in, and the door is forced shut. Noah is torn apart before Glenn’s eyes, who was stuck and unable to help.

It was a terrible way to die, and poor Glenn had no choice but to watch as Noah was killed.
