Walking Dead and Virgin River actress Alexandra Breckenridge has a new hair-do and new content on her Instagram page. Breckenridge has been showcasing her culinary skills, and you need to check it out.
Breckenridge plays Mel on Virgin River, a Netflix original series in its fifth season, and fans adore her character and the series. While fans await the release of the two Virgin River holiday specials in November, the actress keeps her fans entertained, showcasing her cooking skills on Instagram.
With her clever wit and easy-to-follow recipes, fans can’t get enough of this new feature; just read the comments on her posts.

Alexandra Breckenridge cooking videos
After the actress posted a video of breakfast burritos that she makes for her children, her fans urged her to showcase more recipes. She obliged, and now she has a wide variety of recipe videos in which she often describes as simple a word many people like to see in relation to recipes. Many fans hope she will use her talents and host her own cooking series.
In October, she appeared on an episode of The Talk where she joined co-hosts Natalie Morales, Sheryl Underwood, and Akbar Gbajabiamila with a live demonstration of her roasted curry seasoned chicken. (The episode can be viewed on Paramount+) Be sure to try her Alexndra’s Air Fryer Potato recipe.
Breckenridge, like the rest of the actors who are part of the SAG strikes, has found other ways to spend their time while awaiting any news of agreements that will end the strike. In the meantime, she has stated she loves cooking and will continue to post her videos whether there is a strike or not.
The strike has prevented production for Virgin River’s sixth season to begin, which has dramatically altered her lifestyle for now. She is unable to work or promote her work during the strikes, so she will continue to entertain with her fantastic cooking videos until filming can resume.
