Walking Dead’s Khary Payton new TV experience Encounter Party, how to watch

Actor Khary Payton portrayed King Ezekiel in The Walking Dead, which aired its final episode in November 2022. The King ended his story as Governor of the Commonwealth after the community was overthrown. Next up for Payton is a fun project, Encounter Party, that is part of Dungeons and Dragons Adventures programming.
Available on Amazon’s Freevee and Plex, with ads, the new D&D adventures programming includes three brand new original series, Heroes’ Feast, Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill!, and the above-mentioned Encounter Party.

Produced by Brian David Judkins, Encounter Party will see Judkins guide six experienced RPG players through Baldur’s Gate over 22 episodes. Encounter Party was initially an audio adventure that was the brainchild of Judkins and Ned Donovan, which began in 2019. After three years of success, the show has now been reimagined for TV in collaboration with eOne and Wizards of the Coast.
The logline for the series reads: Six strangers share a prophetic dream that condemns two of them to death. Despite their attempts to avoid it, the party discovers their lives are more intertwined than ever imagined. As they hunt for the source of their grim fate, the party becomes ensnared by a charismatic group who are fixated on seeing the future. With the abduction of a sentient weapon, new medical magics, and a masked vigilante obsessed with a romance novel, a question forms within the party.
The premiere of Encounter Party will occur on November 14 at 9 p.m. ET and PT, with new episodes Tuesdays and Fridays on Freevee and Plex. In addition to Judkins (Dungeon Master), Donovan (Flik), and Payton (Tolo), other cast members include David Lee Huynh (Vinh Erikson), Sarah Babe (Ulavina Thrift), Andrew King (Dryddian Rootwalker), and Landree Fleming (Asher).

How to watch Encounter Party
Head over to Freevee and select LIVE TV, top center, scroll down to the Freevee list of channels to find the D&D Adventures Channel. Select the currently playing episode and click the play button beside Watch with ads. This will push the channel into your recently watched, allowing easy access so you don’t miss an episode.
You will be prompted to sign in with an Amazon account; if you don’t have one, set one up, and you can view everything Freevee offers, as it is a free platform.
Watching on Plex is similar to the above, as it is also a free platform.
