By Renee Hansen
Actress Zoe Colletti is known for her roles in The Only Murders in the Building, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and as Dakota in Fear the Walking Dead. In December, fans can see Colletti in a new role in the AppleTV+ movie The Family Plan starring Mark Wahlberg.
The action comedy The Family Plan was created by Simon Cellan Jones, written by David Coggeshall, and produced by Apple Studios and Skydance Media. Filming for the movie began in Atlanta, Georgia, in October 2022 and would wrap in February 2023 in Las Vegas.
The movie follows Dan Morgan (Wahlberg), a devoted family man living a pleasant, quiet suburban existence. Unknown to his family, decades earlier, he lived as the deadliest assassin in the world. His past life creeps into his current one, which requires him to pack up his wife and three children for a road trip to Las Vegas on what they believe is a trip of a lifetime. The truth is he will confront the man who wants to kill him, all while keeping his former life hidden from his family.
In addition to Colletti, who plays Dan’s daughter Nina, the film stars Michelle Monaghan, Saïd Taghmaoui, Maggie Q, Van Crosby, Ciarán Hinds, Miles Doleac, and Joyner Lucus.

Zoe Colletti – other roles
Colletti’s Dakota from Fear the Walking Dead was an outwardly pleasant teen with a rebellious streak who lived in fear of her sister Virginia (Colby Minifie), later revealed to be her mother. In an act of pure selfishness, she kills fan favorite John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) and then joins a doomsday cult led by Teddy Maddox (John Glover), which leads to her death.
She also stars in the Netflix original Boo! Bitch, a limited comedy series, and City on a Hill, A Boy Called Christmas, and Rubicon.
Her recent projects include a family drama, Gigi & Nate, and several episodes of season 2 of Only Murders in the Building, both streaming on Hulu.
She also starred in the supernatural horror Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, based on the book series by Alvin Schwartz. This film reportedly gets a sequel, but nothing new has been announced.
Don’t miss Colletti in The Family Plan on December 15, 2023, on AppleTV+.
