Don’t miss Walking Dead alum Xander Berkeley in Butcher’s Crossing starring Nic Cage

Walking Dead actor Xander Berkeley is known for portraying Gregory in the series. Throughout his career, he has starred in many outstanding roles. Fans can watch him in a new western, Butcher’s Crossing.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022 and was released in US theaters in October. The story is based on John Edward Williams’ 1960s highly acclaimed novel, directed by Gabe Polsky, his narrative feature debut. Polsky co-wrote the story with Liam Satre-Meloy.
Butcher’s Crossing received mixed to positive reviews upon its release. Set in the 1870s, the story tells of Will Andrews (Fred Hechinger), a Harvard graduate who sets out to explore the American West. His goal is to live off the land despite his naivety and inexperience. His journey takes him to the frontier town of Butcher’s Crossing, a fictional town in Kansas, where he joins a buffalo-hunting expedition that risks his life and sanity.
Berkeley stars as a character named Charlie Hoge, joined by Nicholas Cage as Miller, Jeremy Bobb as Fred Schneider, Pau Raci as McDonald, and Rachel Keller as Francine. Amber Rose Mason, Harper Hofstad, Beckett Hofstad, Duncan Vezain, Gabriel Clark, Zuzu Weingart also star.
Berkeley and his wife, Sarah Clarke, attended the pre-premiere party hosted by Diageo World Class Canada and Audi Canada at Lapinou during the Toronto International Film on September 09, 2022, in Toronto, Ontario.
