Ranker has polled close to 32k readers to vote for the most hated TV characters of all time. The list is full ofcharacters you love to hate, and The Walking Dead has several characters on this list. It is likely easy for fans of the series to compile their top 5 most hated characters, but it is interesting to see the rankings by a much larger pool of people.

The list consists of agree or disagree votes (up or down) of a huge number of annoying characters. These are most hated, not necessarily evil, but the characters who cause you to roll your eyes every time they come onscreen.

The Walking Dead aired on AMC for 12 years, and during that time, many characters were introduced who quickly became some of the worst people imaginable. After the outbreak, law and order became a thing of the past, and many people used it to their advantage to embrace the terrible person inside.

David Morrisey’s Governor is currently ranked at No. 3. As the most ruthless villain of the 11-season series, the Governor rightly deserves his high ranking on the most hated list. He has a high kill count on the series, and his methods were some of the most evil seen on the show. Not to mention the heads in aquarium tanks, and he kept his undead daughter chained up.

Adam Minarovish’s Ed Peletier is currently ranked at No. 11, just missing the top ten. He was a horribly abusive husband and father who’s wife Carol (Melissa McBride) and Sophia (Madison Lintz). Who didn’t cheer when Shane (ranked No. 34 on the list), portrayed by Jon Bernthal, beat his a$$ at the quarry?

Sarah Wayne Callies as Lori Grimes is currently ranked No. 18. She was, by far, one of the most annoying characters of the series. She pitted Rick and Shane against one another, never fully committing to either while she carried a child father by one of them; she wasn’t sure. Her death was brutal, but many fans said good riddance.

Other rankings in The Walking Dead:

Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal) No. 34

Andrea (Laurie Holden) No. 42

Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) No. 83

Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) NO. 85

I stopped looking at 100 so there could be more to the list. Check it out and add your votes.
