Fans of the long-running series The Walking Dead are looking forward to more spinoffs featuring key characters from the series. Many wonder if the main series return with another season. Unfortunately, The Walking Dead will not return in 2024, but the good news is several spinoffs will be airing in the upcoming year.

In mid-November, AMC announced that The Walking Dead: The One Who Live would premiere on AMC and AMC+ on February 25, 2024. Along with this information came a new teaser that features Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Michonne (Danai Guria), and other characters who will star in the series.

Pollyanna McIntosh will reprise her role as Jadis with newcomers Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl Thorne, Terry O’Quin as Major General Beale, and Matthew Jeffers as Nat. The new teaser also reveals that Andrew Bachelor, aka King Bach, and Breeda Wool will reprise their roles as Aiden and Bailey in The Ones Who Live.

The six-episode series is an exciting addition to the ever-growing Walking Dead universe. Fans are anxiously awaiting this series to learn what has become of Rick and Michone since they departed the series.

In 2024, the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will also premiere. The upcoming season will see a significant addition to the cast by the way of Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) and include the subtitled The Book of Carol. This is another series fans anticipate as they long to see McBride return to the universe.

Dead City, the Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) focused series, will also see a second season, but there is no news of when this will be released.
