The Walking Dead and Dead Sled Coffee team up for Lucille’s Legacy coffee

Walking Dead fans who are coffee lovers, we have news for you! Dead Sled Coffee and AMC have entered into a 3-year partnership for an officially licensed blend of coffee. The website states this is series one of The Officially Licensed Walking Dead Universe Coffee Collection. As a HUGE fan of TWD and coffee, this is exciting news.
Lucille’s Legacy features five bags highlighting one of the most controversial episodes in The Walking Dead universe. “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be” was the premiere episode of the seventh season of TWD, preceded by an epic cliffhanger of Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) lineup.
The limited edition bags feature Abe (Michael Cudlitz), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and Daryl (Norman Reedus) in images from this horrific episode. Every bag also includes an image of Negan with Lucille in hand.
Fans can purchase all five 16 oz. bags with or without the limited edition box logoed with TWD and Dead Sled for $125. This is the only option that is guaranteed to have all five characters. Purchasing individual bags is $25, and characters are chosen at random. You also have the option of ground or whole-bean coffee.
The coffee itself is described as a dark roast featuring a blend of beans from Brazil and Indonesia that creates a bold, low acidity, and nutty finish.
AMC has also included Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire in the partnership.
Dead Sled Coffee offers membership perks, so if you are a coffee lover, you can become a member and earn points beginning with your first purchase. The company provides many types of coffee, including K-cups, cold brews, and more. They also offer an excellent selection of logoed t-shirts for purchase.
The company offers many other collaborations, including several horror films; Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving is one of the newest. Other collaborations include musicians Rob Zombie, KISS, Cypress Hill, and more. Good news for tea lovers: Dead Sled also has a Dead by Daylight ENTI-TEA, a wild strawberry green tea.
