One of the biggest things any marketing department can do to promote any form of media is to run merchandise lines, opening fans up to the chance of owning a range of items that bring the show home to them. The Walking Dead Universe is no exception to this rule. If you look back over the years, families have had: Comic Books, Costumes, Figures, Stickers, Drinkware, Clothing, Props, and the list goes on.

There are many amazing items that fans can own regarding TWDU, with Fear The Walking Dead also having a few McFarlane action figures released and recently, Hiya Toys brought their Exquisite Mini line to a few characters from the spin-off shows, such as Daryl Dixon and Dead City. There have also been various auctions with Goldin, Propstore, and recently Heritage, allowing fans the chance to buy screen-used props and costumes.

Being a part of TWDU fandom is great for many reasons, but one of the strongest is the sheer amount of items fans can own. There have recently been a string of announcements by InArt that have left fans super excited. The announcement was: a new range of deluxe figures that are some of the most highly detailed to date, and here is all you need to know.

The Walking Dead InArt Upcoming Releases

InArt is a global manufacturer of some of the most highly detailed and accurate figures collectors can buy. They have a range of licenses from: Harry Potter, DC, and The Lord of the Rings to produce a range of 1:6 and 1:12 figures. And one of the most recent licenses that they have obtained is The Walking Dead,

The first announcement was the guy everyone hated to love, Negan! Negan Smith has been made to a 1:6 scale and features a screen-accurate appearance of his iconic Leather Jacket look. There are also two separate moving eyes on the figure, making him move, posable, and expressive.

Standing at 37cm tall, Negan has a range of interchangeable hands, full articulation, weapons, a genuine leather jacket, a base, and, of course, Lucille. The figure also includes a support stand. This figure is currently roughly $269 on the market and is due to be released just over halfway through next year.

The next announcement was the iconic Rick Grimes. Rick is also a 1:6 scale and stands at 35cm tall, donning his iconic boots and blue shirt. Much like Negan, Rick also comes with a range of interchangeable hands, rooted hair, weapons, his revolver, axe and his notable watch.

The price of Rick is a little chunkier than Negan's and is currently at around $385. It is also worth noting that the details on these are insane, and Rick’s jacket is actually made from real distressed denim. The release date of Rick is the same as Negan's and will be just over halfway through next year.

And last but not least, for now, is the most recent character to get the InArt treatment, which is Daryl Dixon. Daryl will also be 1:6, following suit with Negan and Rick. And his vest is also made of genuine leather to make the figure as authentic as possible and features the wings.

Daryl stands at 36.5cm tall and has interchangeable hands, weapons and a mini scale model of his crossbow. Daryl can be posed with or without his crossbow, and even has his hand tattoo; his bandana is also included with the figure. Daryl is the priciest of them all, with a price tag of $412 and will be released in 2027, there is the option to pay in full or with a deposit on all of these figures.

It is an exciting time for fans to pre-order these figures and add them to their collections, as they are sure to look epic. It is unknown if there will be more on the way, but I wouldn’t put it past the company to bring three strong female characters to the table next, such as Carol, Michonne and Maggie. Let’s hope so!

The figures can be pre-ordered through InArt's official website here, where you can also see current stock levels.
