Fear the Walking Dead The Complete Collection on Blu-ray and DVD this fall

In 2015, AMC Networks premiered the first spinoff of The Walking Dead series. Set in the same world as the main series, Fear the Walking Dead began following a dysfunctional American family in Los Angeles at the onset of the outbreak.
Fear the Walking Dead was touted as a companion series to the flagship, an announcement that excited the fandom. Walking Dead comic creator, Robert Kirkman wrote the pilot with Dave Erickson, who served as showrunner for the series through season 3 until Andrew Chambliss and Ian B. Goldberg took over that position for the remaining five seasons. Kirkman, Erickson, Gale Anne Hurd, and David Alpert served as executive producers.
The first episode of Fear TWD aired on August 23, 2015, and had an eight-season run on AMC, concluding with its final episode on November 19, 2023.
Lionsgate has announced that the entire series will be released on Blu-ray and DVD beginning October 15, 2024. Fear the Walking Dead The Complete Collection will be available for the suggested retail price of $119.99 on Blu-ray + Digital (US), $94.98 on DVD (US), and $109.98 on DVD (CAN).
Fear TWD set fandom history as the first spinoff, paved the way for a long line of additional spinoffs, and featured the first crossover character in the universe when Morgan Jones (Lennie James) moved from the main series to Fear TWD in season 4. He was followed by Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christina Evangelista) in season 5.

Fear the Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror-drama series set in the universe of The Walking Dead. It begins in Los Angeles with Madison Clark and her children, Nick and Alicia, in the early days of a zombie apocalypse. As society collapses, they encounter various threats from walkers and other survivors, and in Season Four, collide with the world of “The Walking Dead” when Morgan Jones joins the story. Over eight seasons, the group – including characters like Victor Strand and Daniel Salazar – travels through California, Mexico, and Texas, facing enemies far more sinister than the undead while working to rebuild a sense of hope and community in a devastated world.
