Has The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon renewed for a third season?

The Walking Dead universe began with the main and expanded with numerous spinoffs, some of which are focused on characters introduced in the main series. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the fifth spinoff which sees Norman Reedus reprise his role as Daryl Dixon, a role he began playing in season 1 of the main show. The series follows Daryl as he is forced on a ship bound for France.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been renewed for a second season, which has added the subtitle, The Book of Carol. This is an exciting development within the fandom as it signifies the return of Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier, a role she has also portrayed since season 1 of the main series.
The second season will see Carol's side of a radio call from Daryl, which was featured in season 1. He promised to return to the Commonwealth within the week but when he never arrived, Carol, being Carol, goes in search of her best friend. His last known location was the coast of Maine, and that is where Carol begins her search. This season will also see what choice Daryl made at the end of season 1: return to help his new friends in France or board a boat that would be the beginning of his return trip home.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol will premiere on AMC and AMC+ in the summer of 2024.

During a red carpet interview with TWD Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple at the 51st Annual Saturn Awards, he mentions things are gearing up for production for Dead City season 2 and whispers that Daryl Dixon season 3 is also coming.

This is exciting news for TWDU as it proves these spinoffs are the right direction for the franchise. Dead City, the Maggie and Negan centered spinoff, and Daryl Dixon are two of three series that continues the stories of characters originally introduced in the main series. The third, The Ones Who Live, the Rick and Michonne story, premiered in February 2024, but information about additional seasons of this series has been mixed.
