Movies and shows starring Merritt Wever, who played Denise on The Walking Dead

Actress Merritt Wever has made quite a name for herself since departing from The Walking Dead series, where she portrayed Dr. Denise Cloyd, who took over as physician of Alexandria. Since then, she has starred in many memorable roles.
Wever stars in the recently released drama Memory starring Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard, which is available on VOD on Prime Video. She also starred in six episodes of the dramedy Tiny Beautiful Things which streams on Hulu.
She has been announced for the second season of the Apple series Severance, a sci-fi psychological thriller. The first season received 14 Emmy Award nominations.
She is well known for her role as Zoey in Nurse Jackie, which also stars Edie Falco, of which both actresses have been praised for their performances. Wever won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2013. She also played a widow in the period drama Godless, a Netflix original a role that she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie in 2018.
Wever stars with Toni Collette in the Netflix crime drama Unbelievable. The duo portrays detectives who investigate a false rape allegation to discover the truth. Wever was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film for this role. The series wasn't renewed for a second season.
Other roles she is known for include New Girl, Michael Clayton, Birdman, and Marriage Story.

In The Walking Dead, Denise receives the comic death of Abraham Ford by being shot in the eye with an arrow. It was sad to lose this character as she was definatly and underused one. But the BTS image of this scene is pretty cool.
