2 most cowardly characters in The Walking Dead

Gregory

Gregory (Xander Berkely) was the biggest coward in the series who somehow became the leader of the Hilltop. He was a highly entertaining character but was scared witless of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his Saviors. Every move he made was selfish, and he never had the community's best interests in mind. Ultimately, he convinces Earl (John Finn) to kill Maggie (Lauren Cohan), as he could never pull it off himself. This plan fails, and Gregory dies a coward's death at the hands of the woman he tried to assassinate.

Nicholas

Fans will never forget Nicholas' (Michael Traynor) cowardice that resulted in the death of Noah (Tyler James Williams). Trapped in a revolving door with Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Noah, Nicholas freed himself but, in the process, trapped Noah in the building filled with walkers, where he was torn to shreds. Later, he would attack Glenn in the woods and leave him for dead. Glenn rallies and beats Nicholas and chooses not to kill him but gives him another chance. During the famous dumpster scene, Nicholas, believing there is no way out, shoots himself, which forces both of them to fall off into a pit of walker, of which Glenn barely survives.
