The Walking Dead's Josh McDermitt will attend his first US convention since 2018

Actor Josh McDermitt has long stayed away from social media and appearances at conventions. This is due to the horrible treatment from people online who just love to make people miserable. He began his Walking Dead journey during season 4 when he was introduced as Eugene Porter with Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) and Rosita Espinoza (Christian Serratos).

Eugene finally got his happily ever after the one-year time jump in the series finale episode of The Walking Dead. He and Max (Margot Bingham) were happily married and had a little girl they named Rosie.

It was recently announced that McDermitt would join the likes of Pollyanna McIntosh andLennie James in the Peachtree City, Georgia event, The Camp. This marks his first convention since 2019 and the first in the US since 2018. The annual event is the most unique convention you will ever attend. Not only does the organization raise money for several charities, but features a wide range of celebrities and many intimate events with the actors to attend.

McDermitt will be on hand for professional photo ops, autographs, a panel appearance, and a very special intimate event that will be announced on Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. ET on The Camps' social media pages.

The Camp is held at The Hilton - Peachtree City Hotel and Conference Center in Peachtree City, GA, May 24-26. Each day, new events take place, with nightly parties to follow. This event has been given the name "Fanmily Reunion" as fans are considered family, and this event feels more like a welcome reunion than just a convention.

The Camp celebrates its fifth year in 2024 and event coordinators have promised one of the best so far. The event has hosted over 120 guests during its run from a wide range of shows and movies, including The Walking Dead, Supernatural, The Boys, The Avengers, The Conjuring, and more.
