Walking Dead Daryl Dixon included in Deadline's Best TV of 2023

As fans of The Walking Dead, we are a bit biased where the series and its spinoffs are concerned. It is always nice to see others appreciate the universe, and Deadline has included The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon in its Best TV of 2023 list.
Coming in at number 8 (of 10) on the list, Deadline compares Daryl Dixon to The Last of Us while almost complementing the series with "Daryl Dixon season 1 proved that sometimes there is truly no school like the old school if you want the real thing."
The Daryl Dixon series is the best thing to come to TWDU in quite some time, as the series gives long-time viewers of TWD a new take on the apocalypse by featuring somewhere other than the United States. The backdrop of France is a drastic change from the woods, and seeing Daryl shine as the lead character is something never seen in The Walking Dead.
Another great thing about the series is the new and interesting characters with backstories that have some depth. The Walking Dead series cast had become so large that it was difficult to be interested in characters we learned nothing about.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been renewed for a second season that will premiere in 2024 on AMC and AMC+.
The Walking Dead universe 2023
The Walking Dead: Dead City also premiered in 2023, and it was another fantastic new chapter in Maggie and Negan's stories. This series will also see a second season that should begin filming in 2024.
