Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon star cast in new Disney+ and Hulu Korean spy drama Tempest

The Walking Dead universe cast members list has grown exponentially since the release of the three latest direct spinoffs. In 2023, actor Joel de la Fuente, known for his roles in The Man in the High Castle and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, joined The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon cast as Losang. He will return in the second season of the series. Deadline reports that he has been announced for a new movie, Tempest.
The series is being created for Disney+ and Hulu that have teased “assassinations, political games, conspiracies and spies will collide." Production of the series written by Chung Seokyung has begun in Seoul. Tempest is produced by Imaginus, Showrunners, Studio AA and Action School and directed by Kim Heewon (Little Women) and Heo Myunghaeng (The Outlaws 4), a Korean martial arts director.
de la Fuente was recently announced with Spencer Garrett, Brooke Smith, Tom Lenk, Michael Gaston, and Romy Rosemont. These actors join previously announced Gianna Jun, Gang Dongwon, John Cho, Christopher Gorham, Alicia Hannah-Kim and Jacob Bertrand.
Ginna Jun portrays accomplished diplomat and former ambassador to the U.S., Seo Munju. Gang Dongwon has been cast as Sanho, a mysterious international special agent. Together they must find the truth about an attack which threatens the Korean peninsula. Addtional roles descriptions have yet to be revealed.
Tempest will release on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the U.S.

Joel de la Fuente was introduced as Losang, leader of the Union of Hope, during the sixth and final episode of the first season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. He will return for the upcoming second season, subtitled The Book of Carol which premieres on AMC and AMC+ on September 29.
Many people remember him from his role as Ruben Morales, Technical Assistance Response Unit Tech from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, he appeared in 52 episodes of the series. He portrayed Chief Inspector Kido in 39 episodes of The Man in the High Castle. Other TV shows credited to his name are The Good Doctor, The Blacklist, Madam Secretary, Blue Bloods, Nurse Jackie and more.
