Actor Okea Eme-Akwari is well-known within The Walking Dead universe for portraying Elijah, a companion to Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan), who was introduced in season 10. He has appeared in many other roles, including that of Shawn Payne in the Netflix original Cobra Kai. He reprises this role for the sixth and final season of the series.
Cobra Kai is a series created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. It is a sequel to Robert Mark Kaman's The Karate Kid movies from the 1980s. The new series features the return of Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso and William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, roles they played in all three Karate Kid movies.
The series examines The Karate Kid narrative from Johnny's perspective and begins 34 years after the 1984 All Valley High Karate Tournament events. He embarks on a venture to reopen the Cobra Kai dojo, which reignites his old rivalry with Daniel that began all those years ago.
The series has been well-received by critics and viewers alike. It does a fantastic job of continuing the story that originated in the first movie, which was released in 1984. Cobra Kai is a meld of cheesy nostalgia that introduces many well-written new characters. The series holds a 92% ranking on Rotten Tomatoes
