The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Ted Lasso actor Max Osinski has secured his next role. He will star in the NCIS spinoff NCIS: Tony and Ziva that will air on Paramount+.
The NCIS-verse announced a new spinoff series that will focus on the characters Tony and Ziva, portrayed by Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo in the flagship series. NCIS: Tony & Ziva will feature the characters on screen together for the first time in 10 years.
The new series will begin several years after Ziva, who was thought to have died, was discovered alive. She completed one last mission before joining Tony and their daughter Tali in Paris. The story picks up as they are raising 12-year-old Tali (Isla Gie) together, and Tony's security company is attacked. This requires them to go on the run across Europe as they work together to discover who is behind the attack while learning to trust one another once again so they can live out their unconventional happily ever after.
Recently, Osinski and several other cast members were announced for the series. Osinski will portray Boris, a Russian ex-pat and brilliant hacker. Other new cast includes Amita Suman (Shadow and Bone), Nassima Benchicou (Emily in Paris), Julian Ovenden (Bridgerton), Terence Maynard (Coronation Street), Lara Rossi (The Watch), and James D'Arcy (Agent Carter).
Osinski shared the news on Instagram with the caption "Buckle up, folks! It’s not what you expect 🚀🎉"
