When does Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2 premiere? Will Carol be in the series?
By Renee Hansen
AMC debuted The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon in 2023. The first season was a refreshing change that The Walking Dead universe desperately needed. The series is set and filmed in France, which is a drastic change from the wooded setting of the main series. Will there be a second season of the Daryl Dixon series?
The Daryl Dixon has been renewed for another season that will feature the return of Daryl's (Norman Reedus) best friend, Carol (Melissa McBride). In the first season, a flashback revealed that before Daryl was forced to go to France, he contacted Carol at the Commonwealth, telling her he would return in a week. At the end of the final episode, Carol is seen searching for Daryl in Maine, his last known location. The upcoming season has been subtitled The Book of Carol and will feature her search for Daryl.
McBride was originally announced to join Reedus in a series focused on Carol and Daryl but McBride's schedule didn't accomidate filming in France at that time and she needed a break after filming the main series for 12 years.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2
In 2024, AMC will premiere the second season, possibly by the fall, as with the first season that premiered in September 2023. The story will pick up where things left off, with Daryl opting to stay in France to assist his new friends.
