Andrew Lincoln is set to return to The Walking Dead universe in February 2024 in the new spinoff, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. This series will continue the story of Lincoln's Rick Grimes, and he is joined by Danai Gurira as Michonne. This holiday season, you can watch Lincoln in the holiday favorite movie Love Actually.
The movie was first released in 2003 and is directed by Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, and Bridget Jones series). Love Actually is a holiday rom-com that features 10 different stories that are intertwined in one way or another.
Love Actually is an essential holiday watch for many, along with holiday classics like It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. This is due to the fact that while some of the stories are heartbreaking, the theme of the movie is to look around you as "Love actually is all around."
The cast for this movie is another draw because it features an incredible ensemble of mostly British actors. Hugh Grant portrays the Prime Minister, Bill Nighy, a washed-up rock and roller trying to make a comeback, and Emma Thompson as the poorly treated wife of Alan Rickman's Harry. Bill Bob Thornton portrays the President of the United States and Liam Neeson, a recent widower trying to raise his stepson, played by Thomas Sangster. Other actors include Laura Linney as a love-struck woman, Keira Knightley, caught in a bit of a love triangle with Lincoln's Mark, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who plays Knightly's husband. Martine McCutcheon, January Jones, Martin Freeman, Rowan Atkinson, Claudia Schiffer, Elish Cuthbert, and Denise Richards also star.
Love Actually is currently available to watch with your Netflix subscription, but hurry, the last day to stream is December 31, 2023.
