There is no better place for fans of all things pop culture to gather than Comic Conventions. These celebrations of all things geeky and pop culture usually span either a weekend or several days for bigger conventions such as San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic Con. But wherever you attend a convention across the globe, you are always guaranteed the fun and magic of the events.
So far this year, conventions have seen actors and crew from some of the world's biggest film and TV shows like Star Wars, One Piece, Doctor Who, Halloween, Alien, the MCU, and of course, The Walking Dead. Geographically, comic cons are now branching into many corners of the world with booming popularity. With the events now in practically every continent, fandom is global, and the demand is higher than ever to attend them.
One of the UK’s largest conventions is MCM by ReedPop, which hosts events in London and Birmingham. London is a huge event in fans' comic con calendar and is approaching very soon, with hundreds of vendors, merchandise, and guests—there is something for everyone and more than enough to pack out the three-day event. But one thing fans of The Walking Dead can get excited about is the guest appearance of a cast member at the upcoming October event.
Steven Ogg to appear at MCM Comic Con London.
The man behind The Walking Dead villain Simon, Steven Ogg, is set to appear at MCM Comic Con London October 23-25, 2026. Ogg will appear across all three days, signing, doing photo ops, and selfies. Ogg is also set to appear on a panel on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM to discuss Grand Theft Auto.
Steven Ogg portrayed Simon in TWD, a member of Negan's community at the sanctuary who ultimately met his demise at the hands of Negan for challenging his authority. Fans will be able to get their TWD merchandise and posters signed by the actor and get the chance to ask him burning questions that they may have about his time on the show. Ogg never disappoints at the conventions and is always a lot of fun.
Prices for Ogg's photo ops and selfies can be found on MCM’s website, along with entry tickets to the event itself. The price list also helps guide guests on whether they own a Funko item they would like signed. Of course, Ogg's work does not end at TWD, and fans of Emancipation, Westworld, Better Call Saul, and Snowpiercer will also be glad to hear about Ogg featuring at the convention.
It is set to be a super fun weekend, with some big news and debuts of various products from some major brands. There are always incredible moments and memories made at MCM, and for those who can’t go, you can catch all of the action on their main social media pages. It’s on like Comic Con!
