You read the title correctly! Funko will be releasing four The Last of Us television show Pops! and they're coming sooner than you might expect!
According to Funko Pop News, Pops numbers 1843-1846 will be of a Clicker, Ellie, Joel Miller, and Tommy Miller from season 1 of the hit HBO series based on the video game of the same name. Although Funko has been a company on the minds of many who collect the figures as of late due to their financial struggles, they have not slowed down in releasing new products.
For fans of the video game, Funko released Joel, Ellie, and Clicker Pops! in 2020, which remain sought-after, as evidenced by their high cost. Regardless of the fan divide per the season 2 release this summer, we'd be lying if we didn't admit how long we've waited for these Pops!
The Last of Us has become one of the best live-action video game adaptations, obtaining award nominations, awards, and propelling the already rising fame of television show leads Pedro Pascal (Joel Miller) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie). The series, which follows the story of how Joel and Ellie develop a father-daughter bond twenty years into the apocalypse due to a fungus, has succeeded through its character-driven narrative, exquisite soundtrack, and thought-provoking writing with backgrounds of the serene Midwest.
