We're nearly halfway there. The first three episodes of The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3 have come and gone faster than the spread of a zombie outbreak, and they wasted no time forging a fresh start for Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The volatile duo has finally been allowed to overcome their complicated and bloody past in favor of building a new community that could become a sanctuary of sorts (except this time without all the craziness of that iteration of Negan's Sanctuary).
The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3 hasn't shied away from distancing itself from previous seasons by outright killing former antagonists and completely fleshing out the character of Hershel (Kien Michael Spiller). However, this change of direction has also raised multiple questions along the way, such as who the big bad will be and what other obstacles Maggie and Negan will face as they try to build a shelter in the middle of a wasteland. On the bright side, answers lie just around the corner.
The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3 episode 4 release date and time by time zone
The upcoming episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City will officially mark the halfway point of season 3, meaning more terrifying surprises are bound to come our way. Fortunately, the wait is almost over. The episode, titled "Found/Lost," will air on AMC in the US on Sunday, August 16, at 9:00 p.m. ET / PT. Better yet, there's a way to watch it even earlier.
The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3 episode 4 will be released at 12:00 a.m. PT on AMC+ on Sunday, August 16, meaning certain areas will be able to watch it on Saturday in their respective time zones. To remove any confusion, here's when "Found/Lost" will air in different time zones:
- Hawaii: 9:00 p.m. HST on Saturday, August 15
- Alaska: 11:00 p.m. AKDT on Saturday, August 15
- West Coast of the US: 12:00 a.m. PT on Sunday, August 16

What to expect in the fourth episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3
The 11 seasons of The Walking Dead made it very clear that survivors in the post-apocalyptic world often look out for themselves, refusing to share what little they have with others. However, the community led by Maggie and Renata (Aimee Garcia) is following a completely opposite approach. Ever since they lit up the Statue of Liberty for the world to see, new faces have been joining their ranks, and everybody has been welcomed the same way. There's only one problem with this tactic: resources can run low very quickly.
Members of Maggie and Renata's community were trying to grow crops in Central Park before winter, so there's a chance that we'll see more of them and the dangers they find in such a vast place (which housed many walkers during the events of The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2). Otherwise, there's a chance Maggie and Negan venture into the city looking for more supplies. Remember how Negan went to an abandoned hospital looking for antibiotics to help Ginny? Well, a similar scenario may be in store yet again.
It will also be interesting to see how Dillard (Jimmi Simpson) evolves throughout the season. He spent a long time living on his own with nothing but the company of a few walkers. His solitude led him to a point where he believes he can communicate with the undead, and while he seemed to have overcome this "phase" for a moment, the ending of episode 3 let us know that this is far from the case. Maybe we'll see a potential conflict between him and Negan, who is trying to help him socialize with real people.
A new antagonist could also be on the horizon, and chances are Negan will become an official part of Maggie and Renata's community soon. Fortunately, the time for answers is nearly here.
