Judith Grimes is one child who suffered much loss in the wake of the apocalypse. Luckily, she was too young to remember many of the people she lost, and had many surrogate relatives to love and care for her. When her mother Michonne (Danai Gurira) discovered clues suggesting that Judith's father, Rick (Andrew Lincoln), didn't die, the child was quick to encourage her mother to set off in search of him. Did Judith ever reunite with him?
Cailey Fleming began her portrayal of Judith after the season 9 time jump. This was six years after it was thought that Rick died in a bridge explosion. Although she lost her father, she did gain a brother as Michonne gave birth to RJ (Antony Azor), Rick's son.
Judith's mother, Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) died giving birth to her and her biological father, Shane (Jon Bernthal) died before that. Rick cared for the child as if she was his own along with her brother Carl (Chandler Riggs), until Carl's death in season 8. She was too young to comprehend any of these losses but these were people who were part of her story.
Did Rick Grimes ever see Judith again?

When Judith encouraged Michonne to search for Rick, it was an exciting moment for the child to think she may one day meet him again, as she likely only had vague memories of him. She kept his memory alive for herself and her younger brother by telling him stories of the Brave Man who "died and went to heaven" when he blew up the bridge to save his friends.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live reunites Rick and Michonne and follows the pair as they come against the CRM (Civic Republic Military). It is a great story that brings the fan-favorite characters back into TWDU as fans longed to discover what became of them after they left the series, Rick in season 9, and Michonne in season 10.
The series also features the reunion of Rick with his daughter Judith and his first meeting with his son RJ. Rick didn't know that Michonne was pregnant before his incident at the bridge and for all those years apart, he had no idea he had become a father once again.
Fans hope to see more or Rick, Michonne and their family in another spinoff as The Ones Who Live was a limited series to close out this chapter of their lives.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is available to stream on Netflix.
