Actor Ritchie Coster joined The Walking Dead as Pope, leader of the Reapers in the eleventh and final season of the series. He was a formidable leader who commanded to be obeyed. Sadly, he was betrayed and killed by his second Leah (Lynn Collins). Coster is well known for many notable roles and has now been cast in a new series on CBS, Watson.
The series was created for CBS by showrunner Craig Sweeny, known for Limitless and The Code. Watson is set in the modern day and draws inspiration from the Sherlock Holmes stories originally published by Arthur Conan Doyle, which were set in the 1800s. The series premiered on the network on Jan. 26 after the AFC Championship Game and streams on ParamoArthur Conan Doyle'unt+. The remaining twelve episodes will begin airing weekly on Feb. 16.
Watson's story takes place in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and begins six months after the death of Sherlock Holmes by his archenemy, Moriarty. Holmes was the investigative partner and friend of Dr. John Watson who is portrayed by Morris Chestnut. Watson works in a medical clinic that treats rare disorders. He is a brilliant doctor, but his old life isn't through with him as he and Professor James Moriarty begin their chapter in the story, which has entertained fans for over a century.
The series is a medical show featuring a strong investigative story in a modern setting. Watson turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries.

Coster portrays Shinwell Johnson, a former criminal from London who is an acquaintance of Holmes and Watson. He works as an administrative aide at the medical center who proves his use to the team. In Doyle's novels, Johnson serves as an informant for Holmes and Watson.
Coster is well known for many roles, including Tulsa King, Florida Man, and Rumble in the Dark, Happy!, The Dark Knight, The Bounty Hunter, and more.
Next, he will appear in the action thriller King Ivory by John Swab. The movie is a deep dive into the US fentanyl crisis, showcasing various angles of the war on drugs. King Ivory also stars James Badge Dale, Ben Foster, Michael Mando, Rory Cochrane, George Carroll, Graham Greene, and Melissa Leo.
He has also been cast in Christian Nilsson's Westhampton, which also stars Finn Wittrock, RJ Mitte, Jake Weary, Amy Forsyth, Tovah Feldshuh, Dan Lauria, Luke Slattery, and Sam Strike.
