The Walking Dead: Why Is Alexandria’s Enid So Familiar?
By Adam Carlson
Fans of The Walking Dead were introduced to a young lady on Sunday’s episode named Enid. She seemed a bit odd compared to the rest of the kids that Carl Grimes was introduced to, but we learned a little bit as to why toward the end of the episode.
Enid was seen sneaking out out the Alexandria Safe-Zone for some unknown reason, but Carl attempted to follow her into the woods and ended up losing her. As of now, we have no clue why Enid was sneaking out or what she was trying to accomplish, but I’m sure that will be addressed in future episodes.
This was the first episode of The Walking Dead that Enid has appeared in, it isn’t the first big thing that the actress who plays her, Katelyn Nacon, has been a part of. Although she’s been in several other programs, fans of viral videos and Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim Infomercials should be very familiar with her.
The fake TV show spoof “Too Many Cooks” hit the internet hard, with the YouTube video now being seen over 6.7 million times at the time of this writing. Fans of both may have recognized Katelyn Nacon as Chloe Cook in the video. In case you haven’t yet seen it, here is “Too Many Cooks” from the official Adult Swim YouTube account:
If you don’t feel like watching the entire video, you can just check her out at the 16 second mark and see her with her actual name along the bottom of the screen. She also makes many other appearances in the odd, yet strangely compelling Adult Swim video, but her first introduction is at 16 seconds.
Did you recognize Katelyn Nacon from the “Too Many Cooks” video when you saw her on The Walking Dead? Or is this the first time that you’ve ever seen this internet phenomenon? Let us know in the comments below.
