What Did YOU Think Of The Walking Dead Season 5?
By Adam Carlson
Now that we’ve had almost 2 weeks to digest The Walking Dead’s fifth season, it’s time to look back on this offering and see what YOU thought about it!
You’ve listened to me review each and every episode of The Walking Dead season 5, but I didn’t get to hear from many of you guys about how you felt about this season. The critics seemed to really like it, but that doesn’t mean much. Many things that the media absolutely love are some of the things that I personally don’t like at all. It’s just a matter of taste.
However, just in case you don’t remember the events of The Walking Dead’s fifth season, here’s a quick rundown of the major events:
Season 5A
- Rick and the gang escape the trap at Terminus and meet Father Gabriel. They take refuge in his church until the group splits up and makes Washington D.C. their destination. Meanwhile, the group is stalked by a group of survivors called “The Hunters”. They kidnap Bob, cut off his leg and eat it, eventually learning that Bob was bit by a walker before they dined. Bob is returned to the group and is buried. The other group discovers that Eugene has been lying about his importance and the facility in D.C. Daryl and Carol discover Beth was kidnapped by a hospital group and they devise a plan to get her back after one of the hospital’s workers named Noah escapes. During the conflict with the group at the hospital, Beth is shot and killed.
Season 5B
- The group start making their way to Washington D.C. despite knowing that Eugene’s story was a lie. They stop at Noah’s old home and find it has been demolished. While there, Tyreese is bit multiple times by walkers and is unable to be saved. They keep moving north until they are confronted by Aaron, who brings the entire group to Alexandria. They struggle to acclimate to the new society, and that results in several deaths including Noah and the leader of Alexandria’s son Aiden. Morgan returns to the group.
