Domingo, the actor who portrays the enigmatic Strand on The Walking Dead spinoff Fear the Walking Dead places a very high value between the show and the fans. He talked about his own relationship with fans during the NAPTE conference a few weeks ago. It was during that conference that executive producer Gale Anne Hurd mentioned that The Walking Dead showrunners listened to fans when making decisions to address the violence seen in the Season 7 premiere of the show.

Several actors frequently post updates on filming on their Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, much to the delight of fans everywhere. It’s also an opportunity for fans to share their thoughts and ideas with the actors and crew. “I love that people are so passionate about the show. They tell you how they feel. I want the fans to have that sort of access to know what we’re creating for them.” Domingo frequently takes to Periscope to bring an inside look at the set directly to the fans.
