The Walking Dead Companion Series has settled in on a setting. The series will be based out of Los Angeles according to TVLine.

There were rumors of different potential locations for the show, but now we know we can expect to see the City of Angels. There was an ad out in Pennsylvania looking for actors for the show and people believed that the show could be based out of there. There also was a letter that was sent out to houses in a Los Angeles neighborhood that was looking for a potential filming space. It seems that the letter was legit with the news about the show taking place in L.A.

More from Fear The Walking Dead

Walkers are going Hollywood! Will we be able to call them zombies now or will they still remain walkers? I am pretty sure that the people in Los Angeles would use the word zombies. I also am pretty sure that zombies is a forbidden word on the show, so we will see what creative name they will be given in Los Angeles.

We had heard that the companion show would take place at a different part of the world. They are taking their talents to the West Coast. Could we see some walkers in Disneyland?

The cast of the show is still growing. The main actor has been selected and will be Cliff Curtis. Curtis will play a role that has been described as a divorced teacher, a good man who tried to the right by everyone in his life.

Actors Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey have also been casted for the show. Dillane will play the role of a guidance counselor’s son, who has battled a drug problem. Carey will play the role of the guidance counselors ambitious daughter.

The role of the female guidance counselor still has not been announced. Little bits of info are trickling down through the news on this Companion Series. I can’t wait to see the pilot to see what it will be all about.
