The Walking Dead movie spoof has set a release date for March.

The Walking Dead movie spoof — titled The Walking Deceased — has set their release date to March 20. The timing on the spoof release will set it just before the season finale of the current season of The Walking Dead.

It has been a long time since we have had a good spoof release to the theaters. I still am unsure on how this one will turn out, but there are plenty of moments in which a spoof could get some good content from the Walking Dead. There are plenty of characters that they can spoof on.

Here are some of the images from The Walking Deceased:

The movie is going to draw their inspiration from other zombie films such as Warm Bodies, Zombieland, World War Z, Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead — and of course The Walking Dead.

Here is a synopsis via IGN:

"The Walking Deceased follows a ragtag group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world torn apart by zombies. Characters in the film include: A coma-induced Sheriff, his harda*** son, a hobo with a crossbow, four bickering friends, and a lonely zombie looking for love."

When was the last time that we had a good spoof? Scary Movie 3 with Charlie Sheen? That movie was released in 2003 and there were many other attempts at spoofs since that time that have failed. Let’s see if this new spoof can break the trend that we have seen in the past.

Tim Ogletree is the writer and star of the show. He also created this spoof called Supernatural Activity in 2012.
