Facebreakers: Norman Reedus vs Jimmy Fallon

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon always seems to do some interesting things with their guests.  That stayed true when The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus was a guest on the program last night.

Reedus is known for his work on several projects, including The Boondock Saints and The Walking Dead.  However, when he was on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon had him channel his inner Daryl Dixon and have him work the toy crossbow during a game of “Facebreakers”

If you’re not familiar with Facebreakers, don’t worry.  It’s a pretty simple game where the two players take turns shooting at glass panes with the faces of the participants etched in them.  The player whose glass panes are all broken first is the loser of the game and must participate in a special “surprise”.

Here is the video from the YouTube account of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon:

As you can see, both competitors got off to a great start.  I was impressed that they were able to break as many as they did early on considering that those NERF type toys sometimes take a while to get used to aiming.  After the competition went into the lighting round, Norman Reedus found himself victorious and got to take aim in the bonus round.

The bonus round wasn’t as good for Norman Reedus, as he missed the target with his crossbow a couple times before running up and slapping the target to pop the water balloon over Jimmy Fallon’s head.  It was a fun segment of the show and got to play off one of the most popular characters from the biggest show on television.

Thanks go out to Jimmy Fallon and Norman Reedus as well as NBC and The Tonight Show for this fun clip.  Hopefully we’ll get to see Fruit Ninja with Michonne or Guess Who with NERF pistols for Rick in the future on The Tonight Show.
