Cliff Curtis: Fear The Walking Dead Wants To Raise The Bar
By Adam Carlson
Fear The Walking Dead looks to be on track, but recently a bold statement from the show’s leading man Cliff Curtis has piqued the interest of fans everywhere. In a recent interview with Flicks And The City, leading man Cliff Curtis spoke about the new series based in The Walking Dead’s universe currently titled Fear The Walking Dead.
"“In some ways they want to raise the bar,” Cliff Curtis said. “In terms of the relationship stakes and the humanity. They want to bring more humanity to the characters and the relationships than the original franchise.”"
It’s going to be difficult to “raise the bar” when it comes to The Walking Dead. The hit AMC show has become the most popular show on television during its 5 year run. The standards have been set very high for this new companion show/spinoff starring Cliff Curtis.
So far, the show hasn’t been picked up as a regular series, but it will likely be featured AMC, the same channel as The Walking Dead. The pilot episode has been completed and it stars Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam Carey and many other actors.

More information will hopefully be available about Fear The Walking Dead in the near future. As always, we’ll keep you up to date on any news that we come across. With the bar being set very high for this new series based in the same universe as The Walking Dead, it will be interesting to see if a show with less walkers and more focus on the characters and drama will be as popular as the original series.
