Discussion: Can The Group Trust Aaron On The Walking Dead?

facebooktwitterreddit

The Walking Dead has been a world full of crazy folks over the first five seasons on AMC.  We’ve seen power hungry dictators, cannibals, charismatic murderers, and more dangerous situations than you can shake a stick at.  For that reason, it’s understandable to be skeptical when a stranger approaches the group and talks about a walled community with running water, food, and electricity.

And that’s exactly what happened when the dapper Aaron showed up two episodes ago.

Aaron didn’t need to work very hard to convince many of the survivors to check out the settlement, but others were very hesitant and even downright violently opposed to trusting the stranger not to lead them into a trap.  But is there a point of desperation where you have to take the chance on death for a possible opportunity of living a normal life once again?

That was the question posed to the group on theStream.tv’s The Walking Dead After Show from Clint Frederiksen on Twitter.  He tweeted us at @UndeadWalkingFS using the hashtag #TWDAS and asked us the following question:

Luckily for us, Malynda Hale, Glenna Gasparian, David Fichtenmayer and Timothy Michael at theStream.tv talked about trust in the zombie apocalypse and how much risk should be placed with trying to find a safe place to survive in an EXCLUSIVE clip for us here at Undead Walking.

Here is what they had to say:

What do you guys think?  What would it take for you to trust a complete stranger enough to be led into a possibly dangerous situation?  At what point does the possible reward outweigh the risk?  Make sure to discuss it in the comments below.
