The Walking Dead Season 5 Finale Will ‘Piss You Off’

The Walking Dead’s Michael Cudlitz has a warning for fans of the hit AMC show: be prepared to be mad.

In a recent interview with Yahoo TV, the actor who plays Abraham Ford on the The Walking Dead talked about the upcoming season five finale and had some words to say that folks might not want to hear.  Here is what he said:

"“It’s going to piss you off. There will be tears, but also, once again, like the writers have been doing pretty consistently, it tees up a new beginning in a very, very different way.”"

Cudlitz has done a great job of developing his character of Abraham since being introduced back in season 4’s 10th season.  We’ve seen him deal with the loss of his family, find out that he’s been lied to about a major thing on the show, develop a relationship with Rosita, and become the leader of the construction crew at the Alexandria Safe-Zone.

During that time, we have heard Abraham deliver some of the most awkward lines in the show’s history.  Those include things like being “dolphin smooth” and using the phrases similar to “motherd—k” while fighting off members of the undead.  Sadly, those catch phrases are not from Cudlitz and originate from the writers of The Walking Dead.

"“I’ve given suggestions over time with certain things, but all those iconic ones, they are all specifically scripted. There’s more coming. I like to say there’s some really wonderfully complicated ones coming.”"

Will the season 5 finale of The Walking Dead have us yelling things like “motherd—k” at our televisions or will we be sobbing too hard from what we see to even think about being mad?  Only time will tell on that one.

Be sure to check out the 90 minute episode of The Walking Dead for the season 5 finale on Sunday, March 29th on AMC.  It is scheduled to air at 9 pm EST, but be sure to check your local listings for time and availability.
