4 Awesome Reimaginings of AMC’s The Walking Dead

Earlier this week, we brought you the 8-bit reimagining of The Walking Dead from CineFix and that got us thinking about creative other ways that fans have made the hit AMC show take on different looks and feels.  Because of that, I’ve decided to search for other videos that make us see your favorite walker slaying show in unique ways.

The results were astounding.  It seems like fans love to take two awesome ideas and mash them up create interesting ways of looking at anything to do with The Walking Dead.  Let’s take a look at some of the best:

Cinefix was nice enough to hook us up with a part 2 of their 8-bit look at The Walking Dead.  Warning though, there are spoilers if you haven’t watched seasons 3 and 4 of The Walking Dead.  Here’s the second installment in the 8-bit NES version of the show from the CineFix Youtube account:

This reimagining of The Walking Dead puts the hit AMC show into the shoes of the popular zombie movie “Zombieland”.  It’s a fun take on the the serious nature of The Walking Dead that really makes it seem more light-hearted and fun.  Here is a look at the video from The Usual Suspect’s YouTube page:

This one has been a favorite of mine for quite a while.  I’m sure fans have all read about the similarities between AMC’s The Walking Dead and the popular animated movie Toy Story.  So here is what Toy Story would look like if it was made by the same folks as The Walking Dead according to Patrick Prejusa on Youtube:

And finally, a fan on the YouTube account Little Big Planet Show sent us in a reimagining of The Walking Dead on the Playstation game Little Big Planet.  While I’ve never played the game, it’s pretty cool to see it in the form of another game in what looks to be a pretty faithful re-creation of the show’s opening sequence.  Here’s the video:
