The Game The Walking Dead Actors Play Behind The Scenes
By Adam Carlson
It’s pretty common knowledge by fans of the hit AMC show The Walking Dead that the cast and the crew of the show love to have fun on and off the set. While we’ve seen some of the pranks that have been exchanged between some of the show’s major stars, we really haven’t gotten any real insight into what happens during their downtime and what they like to do to pass the time.
In a recent interview on Access Hollywood’s website, Christian Serratos, who plays Rosita on The Walking Dead dished on the group’s current favorite game to play when they’re not busy filming. That game is called “Heads Up” and if you’re not familiar with it, here’s how it works.
Each player will hold their phone to their head when using the Heads Up app and it will display a word. The other players will try their best to get the person to say the word that is displayed before moving on to the next word. It’s a simple game, but one that can be a lot of fun with the right people.
Christian Serratos didn’t hold back to make a bold statement as to how the game started and who is the most skilled. Here’s what she’ told Access Hollywood:
"“I am. I’m the catalyst for that and I’m also the best at it.”"
She also spilled the beans on who on The Walking Dead are the best players at the and which players can dominate their teammates. From the sound of things, you might be in luck if you land on a team with Lauren Cohan, Christian Serratos and Steven Yeun.
"“Yeah, Steven’s really good at it. I think the most aggressive Heads Up players are me and Lauren [Cohan], for sure. If you’re on a team with Lauren, you’re not getting a word in edgewise and if you’re on a team with me, you’re not getting a word in edgewise (laughs).”"
If you and your friends want to try out the game, it’s available on both Android and iOS devices. You can get Heads Up on the Google Play store HERE or on the iTunes Store HERE.
You can also catch Christian Serratos, Steven Yeun and Lauren Cohan on The Walking Dead’s 90-minute season 5 finale on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 9 pm EST on AMC. Make sure to check your local listings for time and availability.
